Here we have my Kverneland KD 834 Straw chopper/ Silage feeder. Good working order. Just been checked over. When checking it over and greasing it. I noticed it does not have a gearbox to drive the fly wheel. Like most. Just chains and sprockets like a roto spreader size, which makes it a simpler design machine in my opinion and no gearbox to go wrong. This machine will handle clamp and baled silage and spread straw. So a dual purpose machine. This machine has only been used on straw. You can tell when this type of machine has been used on silage. Not had a hard life or been abused. Check out the pictures. This machine has been looked after and has not done much work. Cable controlled machine, which is nice and simple basic technology. There is the option of the side Shute to the right or the swivel Shute which can swivel 300 degrees or thereabouts.
