9ft Votex Tractor Pto Grass Topper. Condition is Used.
Old topper. A few years ago had complete centre section where the bearings go through replaced with half inch plate, so all the blades are rock solid. (this is a problem on most old toppers as this is a big rot area. )
The top originally was covered in wood but this also was re done in steel.
The bad bits,
It wants one, maybe both belts replacing, but they are cheap and available from any bearing factors,
The pick up frame is a bit bent, but works fine.
The blades are well worn, but it still cuts ok.
That said, until two years ago I was cutting 5 acres of grass every week with this machine.
If you want a cheap machine for occasional use then with the belts it will do the job and with a bit of tlc will last for years to come.
Only selling due to it being a bit too large for my tractor when the grass is long, so have got a 6 foot one instead.
