BROWNS COMPACTOR ‘B’ BALE SLEDGE
Up for sale is my Browns Compactor ‘B’ flat eight bale sledge.
Owned and used by me for the last eight years, it has just completed another barley straw harvest a few weeks ago. During the time I’ve owned the sledge is has only had to process around 1000-1500 bales each year, so its had a pretty quiet life really. Always been barn stored when not in use.
This sledge is fitted with an auto release tailgate, so no having to manually pull any ropes to release your eight bales!I’ve also fitted the genuine Browns widening kit (as shown in pics 5 & 6) designed to help the slightly wider Welger bale make the first & second turn more easily.
Sledge comes complete with drawbar pole & pins and bespoke hand made bale chute complete with hinge plate, so is ready to go straight to work.
I am only selling because I have decided to stop baling my own conventional bales from now on and use a contractor instead. The price for this machine new is now a whopping 3565.00 PLUS vat!!! Grab yourself a bargain.
