Hypro FG45 Felling Head, forestry, timber crane, excavator attachment, farming. Condition is Used.For sale is a hydro felling head. This was bought new in 2015 for use on a single job and has not been used since as we no longer have a suitable base machine for it. It was used for no more than 2 months and has then been stored in our workshop, reason for sale is we are unlikely to purchase a suitable excavator in the foreseeable future. The head is very compact and can fell a tree unto 45cm in diameter. It would be suitable for an excavator of 6t up to 10t with oil flow of 60 to 100 litres. Alternatively a suitable timber crane/crane could be used. This head can comfortably cut large trees and its weight means a smaller excavator can be used compared to a similar tree shear. It also leaves a clean cut making it more suitable for coppiced trees or where damage to the stump is to be avoided.Auction price includes VAT and a full vat invoice will be issued on payment. Price of these new is now around 12000 excl vat and this is in very good condition (please see the lack of paint removed from grab and saw box). We will deliver this to mainland UK for free.
