Kawasaki KLF300 quadbike.
Starts, runs, drives and works but needs a bit of TLC…..
What we have here is a mid 90s KLF300 bike. Doesnt appear to be road registered, but does have a visible VIN/ ID.
It has been sat in a shed for a few years, ive pulled it out and done a minor wiring repair, replaced the battery and cleaned out the carb.
It starts very well and doesnt run badly but is a little lumpy and requires a bit of messing with the choke until its well and truly warmed up.
So the engine itself is good, but does want a good service and tune up, semi auto gears all work, 4wd all works, low and high range works. Steering feels fine, centrafugal clutch seems good. Brakes work fine on the handlebars but the brake pedal is seized.
Tyres all hold air and have a degree of tread but are a bit tired. speedo works, shows 7100 miles at the moment but might go up a bit as ive been playing with it at weekends with the kids,
luggage racks could both do with a repaint, plastics arent great, rears ok but fronts badly cracked, been repaired and is secure, but not great.
Overall its not a bad bike, like I say it does work, and I am using it around the yard etc but it does need a bit of tlc, with that in mind its sold as spares or repair on a ‘trade sale’ basis only. No warranty given, or implied at all
