For Sale – our spare feed trailer.
It holds about 6 tonne of feed, it has a pto driven auger that runs along the bottom and pulls the feed to the rear where there is an auger that will dispense the feed into bins etc. The discharge auger is counter weighted so folds down for transport, lifts up and pto locks in to drive it. It has a screw thread to adjust the elevation.
We bought it as a back up and have never used it. It has been sat for a couple of years and will need some proper tlc to get it into service. We greased it up and put it running and seemed fine but never got around to sorting the discharge auger. At some point it has been extended and has subsequently undone on the weld so needs Re welded or putting back to original length. (Which is what we had planned as currently clashes with tractor cab when turning.) . We also planned to replace the threaded winder with a hydraulic ram so could adjust elevation from cab, would be easy enough.
The trailer is solid and strongest in need of some attention and away you go.
