This is my Blitz Rotary Mower. It is the prototype for this year’s Blitz FBM44. It is an incredible machine eating well established rushes, small gorse and saplings with ease, leaving a clean finish.It has done very few hours. The blades are as good as new. The engine runs sweetly. It has been looked after well and has been serviced. I bought it from Rock Machinery this Spring. Sadly, I don’t need a mower of this type any more.Built on the design and success of Rock Machinery’s 2016 Blitz heavy-duty mower, this is the prototype for the 2018 FBM44. This mower includes the new heavy duty floating cutting deck which means that it will move and adapt to the contours of your field and will eliminate scalping. The floating cutting deck also allows the wheels to follow the cutting area so no tramlining.Developed to cut some of the roughest type of vegetation, tested on Scottish rushes, thick grass, thistles, nettles, weeds, even a woodland path. It will cut saplings up to about 4cm thick, the Blitz worked without fault even in places that had not been cut for 20yrs.Dont confuse this mower with lighter mowers with small engines that just arent up to the job. This model includes a 24HP Loncin engine, a serious heavy-duty professional engine for a serious heavy-duty professional mower.It also includes a ‘remote’ ignition and control box that can be mounted on your Quad/ATV. So no need to constantly get on and off the ATV.This mower is a monster! It can tackle the most challenging conditions and leave a neat finish. Perfect for keeping paddocks and rough grazing areas in good order and for improving marginal ground and areas that need to be brought back up to standard.It features a drive system that sends all the power from the monster 24 HP Loncin Twin cylinder engine to the recoiling cutting blades meaning that the twin belt system works in perfect synchronicity to distribute the power.This system has proven to prolong the life of all wearable parts compared to other traditional towable mowers.
